Makes me want to fake date a male best friend… BAYBAY! Where do I get me a Caleb. I loved the way he loved her. The way he was absolutely obsessed with her and couldn’t bear the thought of losing her. They always say, the best relationships start as friendships. There’s is one of the best I’ve read!
For me usually novellas are hard for me to get into it, but I have found that they work best for me when it's a friends to lovers trope or any other trope where the MC's already have an established relationship. So with that said, I really enjoyed this one. I loved not only the friendship between Caleb and JJ, but also the relationship with Caleb and JJ's family. Fake dating is my favorite trope so I did love that. I will say that I was hoping that there wouldn't be a third act conflict, and IMO it was kind of abrupt, but it wasn't anything that made me like this novella any less. This was the perfect quick read, and I'm so happy it landed on my radar.
