This was such an exciting read! I called some things and was surprised by others, which is my favorite mix in a book like this. I definitely got Charade, Rear Window, and Wait Until Dark from this read and I loved that she listed Charade and Rear Window as some of her inspiration for writing this one. The book is certainly dark, but the mystery keeps you hooked and guessing until the end.

I liked all the perspectives in this thriller! The timing of the reveals was well paced and seeing the same scene from various people was done well. I enjoyed the mystery for the most part, and there were times I had really high hopes. But, the ending and final “reveal” felt abrupt! I wanted more from the story at the end, as well as the aftermath of everything. It felt like things were shaping up for a more cohesive conclusion, but the ending fell flat.
