While this was a comprehensive overview of the reach of the Israeli military technology industrial complex, Loewenstein’s politics are disappointing. Loewenstein’s denunciation of the Palestinian resistance and over-reliance on the accounts of “Israeli” human rights activists as opposed to Palestinian accounts is a subtle rehabilitation of settlers occupying Palestinian land. 

With that being said, this book is a good primer for understanding the Israeli surveillance and defense industries. 

Well researched and critically important information. The final few chapters that focused on social media are obviously part of this issue but wish the connection to the weapons/surveillance sector of israel was more clear.
