Pretentious, try-hard, and absolutely lacking in wit, I was surprised I made it through this book. A poor rip-off of Vonnegut's style with a philosophy 101 student's know-it-all mannerisms, I found myself incredibly disappointed as I came in expecting something entertaining and intelligent. I kept reading in hopes that it would pick up or have some revelation or maybe call people something other than "nuts". But in the end it never did, so I leave this non-recommendation and move on to something else.

Vonnegut derived, but original, funny and brilliant enough to be a fitting homage. And just possibly, more Kurt than Kurt in places - the philosophical matter is dense and dealt with clearly and with humour. Totally recommended.
