Library book for Marcus

My son just loved this book. We read it every day for what seemed like months. Now we read it occasionally. I made up a melody for the song that George sings and that made it a lot more fun for me (although it's a pretty fun book without). It's a VERY long story though. But very much in keeping with the Donaldson/Scheffler duo's Gruffalo fare.

Another fantastic book from Julia Donaldson. This has a lovely story line and as always the illustrations are very engaging.

A cute little book where the hero gives everything away that he earlier wanted, piece by piece.
We read this in Hungarian and the rhymes are not that good, but it's OK.

Another lovely story from Donaldson. The reader follows the giant on his journey home, encountering animals in need along the way and gifting his clothes in an effort to help them. A fun way of spreading a message about the importance of helping others and sharing what we have set to rhythmic lines in a great children's book.

This is a wonderful and cute story with a great message done with lovely artwork.
