Over Her Dead Body by AB Morgan is the first book I have read by this author. I loved it. Peddyr Quirk is a PI called in to help Gabby find out who has declared her dead. Whoever is behind it has gone to some lengths to achieve chaos in Gabby's life. Love the characters and the ending was terrific. It was a great read.

What a fab read.
What happens if you were declared dead, by you don’t know who, for a reason you don’t know why!
This grabbed me from the start & it’s the beginning of what I think is going to be a great series.
Edited. I’ve just listened to the audiobook. Absolutely fabulous! It just brought this to life even more. Ah honestly it’s a great listen.
Narrator was fab, just kept the tempo & voices alive. Excellent!

I really enjoyed this! It most definitely was quirky! It was a different spin on mysteries and I loved how this had such a fresh feel to it. I couldn't imagine one day finding out I was dead when I was very much living and breathing but that's what happened to Gabby Dixon!
I love how we follow most of the story through her eyes, with chapters from Peddyr. I was mainly reading this book, and flying through it when I got the chance to sit and read, however, as soon as I saw there was an audiobook and the author narrated it, I got me a copy! Boy, it didn't disappoint! I love the fact that the author narrated it because she knew how she wanted her characters to sound and this made them launch themselves off the page and into my front room.
I followed them all over, I followed the clues, and I did feel for Gabby and the betrayal she had experienced. The ending just happened, I didn't realise I was at the end until Morgan said it!! I did find that a bit meh. I think I was expecting a big bang, but it was more of a low-key affair.
I do love that there are more of Peddyr and Connie's books! I will most definitely listen to these, as I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with them! I just need to catch up with them! The author has a knack for making you feel at ease as if you are enjoying a nice cuppa, relaxing while she takes you on her mysterious journey. The writing is fun, and there were some laugh-out-loud moments. I really did enjoy this murder mystery and I was completely off the point with this the person behind it all.
This is a genre that I have a huge soft spot for because even though it tackles death, everything is so light and fairy you know eventually it will be ok. And if you have Peddyr backing you, you are most definitely in safe hands....unless there's a bottle of red wine and Bernie involved!!!!

Gabby is very surprised to find out that she's Dead especially when in reality she's very much alive. Someone has declared her deceased and is attempting to ruin her life. I really enjoyed this book especially the opening third as the realisation starts to hit Gabby and how severely difficult its becoming to do normal every day things. The more she looks into matters along with a friend, her solicitor and a PI, then the more unpleasant secrets unfold. I did feel that the middle third dragged a bit but the last few chapters had me hoping that all would get resolved as Gabby gets closer to the truth. A really unusual and interesting read. Definitely recommended

Over Her Dead Body by A.B.Morgan
Gabby had been all set to start her new life after her mother's passing and her divorce. She moves into her late mother's home, she is hoping to buy her sister out, so the house was hers, but the bank put a stop on her account; why?
Gabby is deceased; according to the bank, her whole life fails to exist.
Someone has gone to exceptional lengths to do this to her, but why?
Enter the Private Investigators, husband and wife Peddyr and Connie Quirk.
As Connie delves into Gabby's life, Peddyr is looking into the past he is getting closer to the truth.
I thought this was an interesting and engaging read.
I felt it's more a suspense novel than a thriller, but worked for me.
I was sure I had worked it all out several times, only to be proven wrong!
Over Her Dead Body is the first book in A.B. Morgan's new series.
I look forward to the next instalment.
I want to thank the TBC Reviewer Group for a copy to review.

Today's read was Over Her Dead Body by #alisonmorgan
It is based on the story of Gabby, she's just finalising her divorce, her mother has just passed away, and Gabby has uprooted everything to move into her mother's old house.
However shortly after her arrival everything goes wrong when she is declared dead.
Between her solicitor and a private investigator they try and unravel the mystery.
It goes back to Gabbys childhood and is linked to the birth of her sister. She had a bang to the head and has memory lapses. Who can she trust.
This was brilliant. Totally different to anything I've read before and twists and turns all over the place. This is the first of Alisons books I've read, it won't be the last
