I am infinitely more please with this book than any others in the series. The women have far more depth and agency. They're not as one dimensional. Harry feels much more believably human and for me more likeable, much as I enjoyed him before.
His compassion and empathy comes through as much more human and less sexist. The relationships are more complex, feeding off of what started in the previous book. Molly is better written and conversation around her and her appeal is better handled and far more respectful. This is probably going to be one of my favorite books in the series.

The sexual assault tag is for how Vampires of the White Court feed. It's a grey area of consent.
