Historical fiction based on the Knights of the Golden Circle and lost Confederate gold and a plot to subvert the Founding Fathers and make the Senate answer to the House. It was an okay story but a tad boring to me.

Interesting information about the Smithsonian and Civil War history, but the book often drags, and the characters are only minimally interesting.

Another enjoyable read from Mr. Berry. If I had more spare time while reading this, it would have met my page turner criteria, unfortunately I had to keep puttnig it down. Great conspiracy theory dating from the Civil War south to current day House Rules Committee.
