Another installment of the Women's murder club with Lindsay being the front and center character. I missed the other ladies taking such a back seat to her, since at times she is whiny. This time around she is dealing with being a newlywed and newly pregnant with two high profile cases. First is the discovery of gruesome heads at a hollywood home and the second is a killer taking out drug dealers. As the stress piles up, her and Joe have a falling out, she alienates Cyndi and spends very little time with Yuri or Clare. I miss the personal updates in these books since I feel like I am catching up with old friends. But I read these books for what they are and try not to read too much into the writing style or weak spots in the plot.

Another good instalment of the Women's Murder Club. It was a good read that was hard to put down. The plot moved at a fast pace and it was very hard to put the book down.

Some of the writing in this was cringe worthy. Time to end this series'

Eh, you know. Patterson.

ETA: oh, and a totally stilted & unnecessary reference to The Cloud. I'm sorry, were they trying to make this book relevant in a future when no one remembers the cloud? Or was it just an aged editor who needed it added? Do readers really get caught up in such things? Bc it's the terrible explanations the catch me.

I didn't realize I had gotten so far behind in this series. They're quick reads with short chapters - perfect for travel.

I didn't love it like I loved the first few. The personal stuff wasn't as interesting to me and the one mystery plot wasn't very compelling.

This was better than the last one...a rogue cop going after drug dealers, and 7 heads buried in a garden, with a little relationship angst thrown in for good measure. Entertaining.

Easy read. I generally like murder mysteries but I like them better when I can devine clues ahead of time. This one just seemed to give me the murders without much build up.

Always game for a mystery murder in the summer time. Light reading, good story, enjoyable!
