Bleed Blue 69 is a collection of short stories by some amazing authors. A nice mix of sweet and hot! One story I had an opportunity to read was Frost Bite by Chelle C. Craze. It’s a story between two people who come are afraid to love for different reasons and find some kind of comfort in each other. What a great story! All kinds of feels.
This collection has some other great stories and is totally worth grabbing! I give it 5 stars!

I received a copy of Lifeline by Alexis Alvarez for an honest review. I am not much of an instalove type person, but I realize that these are really short stories. I will say that I enjoyed that this story actually had a bit of mystery and a plot and it was well done considering how short the story was. Looking forward to seeing how the anthology ties in together!
Neat compilation
Okay so this was a neat idea by these authors to write a bunch of shorts. I gave it a four because it didn't rivet me to my kindle the whole way through. Some I skimmed and others I was engrossed in.
I saw a lot of complaints about how abruptly the shorts ended. The way I looked at it was these are short stories. They weren't meant to tell the whole life tales of these characters. It was merely a snapshot in their life. While some of it was instalove others were already in a relationship and it was just capturing their life at the holiday's. I honestly liked how it wasn't a neat clean ending. It did leave me wanting more, sure, any good author will, but this was more realistic with the ending.
One point that stuck with me was the k-9 and Thanksgiving. I laughed so hard at that one. I also had a dose of reality. Some of these stories were very well done capturing the real life of a LEO. I give props to the authors that captured that because it's not all sunshine and flowers.
Overall if you want some short stories that you can read at a leisurely pace then this is a good one.

I had the opportunity to read Lifeline, Alexis Alvarez’s short story in the Bleed Blue 69 anthology, and let me just say, Wow! I am never disappointed by this author! Lifeline is chock full of creativity (remember the Festivus Pole from Seinfeld?), smoldering sexy goodness (I would like to think there really are detectives as hot as Lucian Foster), and laugh-out-loud fun (rubber chickens & death threats).
Add in the electrifying energy of NYC’s art world, a bunch of colorful characters, and some sizzling sexual tension between Livvie and Luc, and this story sings! There may even be some red rope involved. Or not. Just sayin’. It appears that detective Foster is a bit of a Dom, and he’s itching to get his hands tangled up in Livvie.
I loved this story and can’t wait to read the entire anthology!

I received an ARC of Life Line by Alexis Alvarez (a story in this anthology) in exchange for an honest review.
This story about an NYPD detective and an artist is sizzling hot. I loved the banter between these two. Alvarez really captures a bit of the NY experience in the feel of this story. The chemistry between the characters is palpable, and they are so sexy... my heart was definitely racing. I'm not sure how she sucked me so quickly with this short story, but I was hooked.
I cannot wait to read more stories from other great authors when the book is released. An easy way to support a great charity, the proceeds from this compilation will go to the C.O.P.S. Foundation to support the families of fallen officers.

I wanted to read Bleed Blue 69 for a number reasons ranging from it had a few of my favorite authors and I love a man in uniform, especially a blue one, all the way to it's for a good cause. And it took awhile, but I read all 25 of those stories and they were all excellent. I just really enjoyed reading this anthology!
I'll admit that I thought the stories would mostly be smutty, sexy and easy, but they were so much more. Some had mystery, some had heartache, and a good number were heartwarming. They're really short stories and while there where ones that left me satisfied, there were others that left me hungry for more.
Bleed Blue 69 is an anthology made up of many different parts. There are HEAs, happy-for-nows, and some cliffhangers and trust me, I will definitely be keeping a look out for more of those tales that left me needing more. Even with all that though, I loved reading Bleed Blue 69, and it is definitely worth everything.

Before I start my review I have to give kiddos to the authors for this very aptly named Anthology, the very fitting, sexy cover and the fact that the proceeds are going for a very good cause.
I had the opportunity to read Lifeline by Alexis Alvarez and I really enjoyed it. It was sexy and fun and the chemistry between Olivia and Luc was off the charts.
If this is what I have to look forward to with the other stories in this anthology, I can't wait to get this book on my kindle!!
*I received an ARC from the author for voluntary review.

Enjoyable teasers for a good cause
Most of these stories were great and I really wanted them to carry on but overall I think the short stories work really well as a compilation. A great mixture of sweet and hot with so!e fan characters!!

Bleed Blue 69: Reality Calls by Jenni Moen is a short story about a police officer named Luke who gets…well, what else of course? A reality call. He’s excited to see Sierra, a woman he’s been seeing who’s coming to spend some time with him for the holidays but what he doesn’t know is that she has a bit of a surprise for him but she’s not the only one. Luke isn’t really ready for the changes that are coming his way but he either has to embrace them or run from them but they won’t be going away anytime soon. Luke is afraid because he knows that at any time that he walks out his door that it could be that he’s not coming back…it’s reality but for now he has a lot to live for.
This is a very short story so I can’t really tell you too much without basically telling you the WHOLE story and well, I don’t want to ruin it for you so I’ll just say this…it’s a good story and I really enjoyed it. The fact that it is also in essence a branch off of another story by Jenni Moen is a plus. It’s short, sweet and left me wanting more to be honest so I hope that she writes more about Luke and Sierra so that we can find out what happens next with them as they take this journey that they are now on. I definitely recommend this book for anyone who is either a fan of Jenni Moen, likes stories about police officers or is just a fan of sweet romance stories.

I read Lisa's book "My Beating Heart" and if the rest of the stories are as entertaining then this collection is a winner. With all proceeds going to a good cause it is regardless.
I enjoyed this short tale of the cop and his K9 partner, the promise of a happy ending in love. He rescued the damsel in distress and saved the day.
I look forward to the release of this set to read the rest.
