My daughter told me that the movie "Alita, Battle Angel" was an amalgamation of a number of story lines from the manga of the same name. This volume continues the story of Yugo yugoing and, in response, Alita goes into Motorball and begins moving up through the leagues.

That's probably enough for a start. On to Volume 4.

The third volume of alita.
Still love the details, i don't really like the place she and ido are at.
I would prefer it if they got back together, not sure where we are going with the race arcs of the story.
Totally new territory for me since it wasn't covered in the movie, but i have to say this is very different than the movie, its really unique.

I didn't like this one as much as the last one, but it was still really good. This plot takes the reader further into the philosophy of what it means to be human, and what it means to be a monster. I loved the action and plot development along with the new characters.

Has Alita met her match(es) in the Motorball rink? Has Ido acted before considering the long term results of those actions? Did you read these with the voice of Rodger Parsons echoing in your head?

Stay tuned as we head into the fourth volume of Battle Angel Alita!
