Kick off to the Jack Bailey series. A lieutenant with PTSD working in Texas by escaping from Chicago. The story was choppy with some story lines that went nowhere & a murder case that dragged the entire book. Not very good character development for any of the characters & a pretty far fetched love affair & unsatisfying ending
