Such a beautiful book!
Me encanto leer este libro. La forma en que nos cuenta sus historias y habla sobre los chimpancés hace que te conectes con su historia. Ademas de muy interesante e informativo, esta escrito de una manera emocionante y personal.

Anyone who doesn't believe in a connection between man and chimp should read this book (yes, we really are apes). Besides the breakthrough in our understanding of our closest relative, this book is very well written and reads like a fascinating soap opera. It is amazing to me that a young women went and lived in Africa and followed chimps into the deepest jungle by herself - who says women are less brave than men!! It is also unbelievable that scientists thought it strange that Jane gave the chimps names (why wouldn't she?). I can't imagine reading "chimp #245 gave birth to baby chimp #266" - how do you keep track of individuals unless you put a name to who they are as a living being. Highly recommend to anyone interested in animal or human behavior, nature lovers, or people who want to be inspired to follow their dreams (to the ends of the earth if need be). Yes, Jane you are my hero!!

Jane Goodall is such an inspirational person. This was a perfect time for me to read this since I'm on the brink of a new journey in life. And I loved all of the chimpanzees by the end and felt like I really knew each and every one of them. This is such an incredible story about such an amazing time in history. I can't wait to read even more of Goodall's books.
