This is one of my daughter's favourite picture books. It's very satisfying to read aloud.

A cute, likeable story with a predictable but fun ironic twist.

The pictures also are lovely and not too stereotypical. I can just see the two-year olds at work getting me to read this again and again

A model for a successful picture book, with bright illustrations, plenty of repetition and an obvious but pleasing outcome: be careful what you say to baby!
