I really hope that the details of Ronan's up-bringing were completely ficticious, because it's too horrible to contemplate that they could be a reality for anyone! Broke my heart and infuriated me in so many ways!

eeek this one was good too. the dynamic between ronan and sasha was so nice to watch and it was so great to see their character development too! they had a lot to learn even if it was done unconventionally (what IS conventional in a dark romance?) but it was still done well!

Narrator Review:
Tracy Marks is the same narrator as in book one and she was very consistent with her continuation of the characters in this series. I loved the accents and I would recommend this audible book.
Story Review:
Reaper is the continuation to a dark mob series that focus on one couple, however all the characters are in each book. You could read this as a standalone but I would recommend starting with book one.
I love how characters surprise me. In the first book, I wasn't really a fan of Ronin. He was pretty harsh with Mac and that didn't endear him to me. In this book? Wow! There was so much more to Ronin that completely changed my mind about him.
I didn't like that Ronin purposely stayed away from Sasha for so long, but when you learn his past... it makes so much sense. His childhood was just heartbreaking. It explained so much about who he is. You can't help but fall for him and want him to find that love he never had.
Sasha and Ronin both deserved to be happy. They have been through so much that most people would have given up on life long ago. Their story just makes me ready to jump right into the next book and see what we are gonna get next.
I purchased the kindle version of this book, however I was given this free review audio book copy at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
