Great back story on Buzz, my first astronaut story. Great respect for this man along with the others.

Throughout the course of this book, Buzz takes some cliches (don't give up on your dreams, the sky is the limit, etc) and analyzes them. Some of the cliches he agrees with and some he does not agree with. He gives examples as to why he agrees/disagrees with the cliches and then moves onto the next one. In that aspect, this book was good and I could see it being a motivator to someone who feels "stuck" in their life.
That being said, I feel like Buzz is the creepy old guy that you try to get away from as soon as possible. He seemed very egotistical, entitled, and a little perverted. I hated the tone he took throughout this book when he spoke of women. I also hated how it seemed like he felt that he was better than the reader. Buzz has done many great things (there's no doubting that) and he is definitely smarter than me, but it was not good as a reader to listen to him talk about how he is way better than so and so because he's smarter or more experienced. I couldn't wait to finish this book just so I would be done listening to Buzz Aldrin talk about himself.

Learning about dreams, goals and the moon!
It was a very nice read, knowing more about American space history made me realize how dreams can be achieved if you set them as goals. 5 stars :)

The book starts out intriguing, but as it goes on it becomes a collection of stories. The tales are certainly interesting and enjoyable, they just don't always align with the lessons they're supposed to support. The book definitely has value because of the author's unique experiences and perspectives, but the promotion is incongruent to the material.
