One of my favorite stories. The narrator is fantastic and the background music adds to the mood. Well done!

The vampire tale I didn't know I needed. I adored the vivid, descriptive writing and the pace of reading- it was easy to get through in one sitting and I couldn't put it down. While it's short and the ending a bit anti-climactic, I appreciate how the ideas of it take on a life of their own that can extend far beyond this.

Had to read this as a lesbian who loves vampires, I'm impressed by the character development for such a short book. The ending was a bit anticlimactic but was also expected. Has many problematic elements you would expect from this time. Enjoyed it very much for what it was regardless.

This wasn't what I was expecting - the recommendations I saw talked about romance and mutual infatuation, but that isn't actually what this book is about. Not a bad book by any means, but not as interesting thematically as I was hoping.
