3.5. this was cute although i wasn’t really expecting a college romance.

nick was charming and jess was so sweet but there was such melodrama in the story that it was hard to fully be invested in.

i liked it well enough at the end of it.

Loved it

This one by J Sterling was a real page turner. I was desperate to know what became of Nick and Jess. I finished this book in one sitting and now I need more of this very talented author's work!

This book... gosh, where do I start?! It's pretty darn incredible!

J. Sterling did an out-of-this-world job in creating and bringing to life characters you love.

Not a lead, per se, but Rachel is hilarious, and spunky. I really hope to see her in future books!

Anyways, this starts out as a typical love story, perfect all American boy meets and falls for little old plain Jane. But what truly transpires is beyond any love story I've read in such a long time!

Nick and Jess are such well thought out and real characters, it literally brought tears to my eyes. These written humans are amazing, and worth getting to know. God, but I need to warn y'all, you ARE going to want to throats punch Nick, the poor guy.

There were a few inconsistency issues, but being that I received an advanced copy, I can't be certain that you'll see them. (Who knows, even if they were missed, I may be a little more psycho than the rest of you with that stuff!). But that being said, I'm not taking that into account, because I really, REALLY, love this book!

I can't wait for y'all to read it too!

I don't get it, why would you allow your parent to dictate your life when your a freaking adult!
I will never understand books like this.

The brothers I found to be a little naïve.
I didn't feel the connection at all between these characters. I wanted something light and that is what it is. Bit cheesy but its kind of what I was going for.
But still I expected better.

Really the best part of the book for me was the narration, both are awesome.

J. Sterling does college romance right! Angst, love, heat, and heartbreak with a few twist and some hilarious supporting characters make up this fun read! It has all the feels!

So much angst

Honestly, I think they spent more time apart and they did together. I was incredibly frustrated by their lack of communication and their inability to be honest with one another up front. I kept reading, because I wanted to know what happened. In the end I guess it was a good conclusion, but I’m not sure if I continue this series.
