I had never read a Nicci French book before and it just so happened that my library had monday through thursday sitting on the self, I am all about reading series and reading them together and in order, I am very OCD about my books!!! So when i seen them all sitting there neglected, i could not walk away, I figured what the hell if i like them I have them all if not I'll just send them back no big deal. Little did i know this series would take over my life! I would NOT touch another book til i read this whole series, then of course i found out there were more, I had to reserve them all then wait very impatiently for the rest to come in! One thing i can tell you after reading all these books I LOVE FRIEDA KLEIN !!! This woman is my spirit animal! She is everything I want to be in life, and since i can not be this person reading her be this person is the second best thing, I love how she gets into a case and it consumes her, it becomes her life until she fixes it or figures it out, then when she finds out an injustice is done she won't rest until she fixes it, quite literally!! The biggest mystery to me is how this woman does all this work and still find time to rest in the tub and go to sleep!?

Definitely now one of my favourite series and book 5 did not disappoint as psychotherapist freida klein finds herself present suspect in the murder of a body found floating in the Thames.
Facing a murder charge ( my only criticism is that I was a little sceptical about the process and inevitably of this decision) she goes on the run. With help from her band of friends she is determined to find the killer while the ever present Dean reeves is still in the background.
I will rapidly get to the next as I feel the inevitable climax is coming and much anticipated.

This book was again thrilling till the end. And that plot twist, I should have known! I wonder how this series will finish and I can't wait till the next one!
