A lovely biographical story of a man and his beloved garden. More than that, though, it is a story of a life, a family, of love and joy, of hardship and sorrow, of the pleasures of hard work and simple comforts. The bright, cheerful illustrations compliment the text well, and the songs, poems, and scripture sprinkled throughout add an extra bit of depth to the story. How I wish I could've seen Arthur's garden!

I'm a keen gardener and I love to read books about gardening and gardens.
This was very good, sweet, engaging and entertaining.
I loved the memories as much as I loved the descriptions of gardens, plants, and flowers.
I recommend this book to whoever is in love with gardening.
Highly recommended!
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.
