Alot happens in this book buy during the first reading I just didn't like it as much as the other books before. The memorable moments are great so yhey make up for it. It also sets up the story for the next few books and give us new characters since some of the events that happen are a very big deal.

I always enjoy reading about Vervain and her men, well, her entire squad actually and this book was no exception.
I loved the twists in this because I honestly didn't see them coming, I mean the thing with Kirill, I saw that, I didn't believe for one minute that the bull shit drowning was the way he was supposed to die.
I liked that Vervain is changing that horrible future that she saw, with her having Kirill's daughter next instead of Trevor's son that makes me happy that the future for them will be okay.
All in all, another good addition to the series.

Vervain has had a vision about one of her husbands being in danger. And now she must do everything she can in order to keep him from meeting his end. However, her two little ones may also be in danger and while she thinks someone is the cause she could be incorrect in that assumption.
This book was really good and really sad. I felt so bad for Vervain at times. It was awful, but I really love how the author keeps giving us more Vervain and her children. I hope we get to read about her having all of them. It's super exciting and I can't wait to read more in this series.
