A lot of potentially interesting plot lines in the first two parts that never get resolved. Most of Part 3 felt like it was the ending of a different story. Too many unanswered questions,
and the epilogue fell super flat. I had to reread the last page, because at first I thought the whole family was forgetting their lives, instead of Charlie confirming her suspicion with a false statement and Silas momentarily forgetting their daughter's birthday.

this was not what I was expecting this novel to be at all! I knew it was more of a YA style coho mixed with a mystery, but I will say that it completely hooked up from page one!

there are a lot of amnesia trope books out there, but the way that colleen and taryn were able to write this one made it seem fresh and unique! I loved the bottom line chemistry between charlie and silas - and I was rooting for them the entire time šŸ„°

my favorite element of the plot was the mystery surrounding the magical realism of the two MCs! however, the ending and last 25% were super disappointing to me, and basically didnā€™t answer a single question ā€¦

Iā€™m all for soul mates and fated mates, but the ā€œsolutionā€ to figuring out their amnesia was a little too easy and cookie-cutter for me šŸ˜© and the fact that we never really figured out why this was happening to them

and can we talk about āœØ that traumatic event āœØ that happens to charlie that just ā€¦ never gets talked about ever again? and the revelation that happened after that ā€¦ that just was forgotten about?

it just felt a bit disjointed, and while I was sucked into the mystery of part 1 and part 2, part 3 just felt like a totally different novel altogether.
