'The Agency' is a killer book concept from Katie Skelly...agents (akin to the Bond series or 'Get Smart') all women have a variety of sexual adventures and misadventures with a skeleton, Spider man TM, mushrooms, an octopus....This book seduces you, chapter by chapter, into a world where the mission is pleasure and nothing is off limits or taboo. Skelly is a conceptual writer and a bold-liner and colorist. Her work normalizes all manner of female sensuality and encourages confidence, sense of self OR the power to erase one's self and become an agent, an alias, or a woman on the run. My only complaint about his particular publication is that a page or two were pixelated (I've been there) and, because the stories were written and drawn at different times they are inconsistent. That's not so much of a complaint as it is an observation. It's really beautiful to see the growth of the work and what IS consistent between the different chapters and what themes tie them together.
