WHERE'S MY JOINING CONTENT AND KIERAN POV, JLA???
Seriously though, this was a great companion to the series...es, especially for the Flesh and Fire series, which I'm more likely to forget pieces of.
NEEDS MORE KIERAN THO

Dear Reader, as this compendium begins, I want to let you know why you need this book as part of your collection.
When I first heard about this book, I was a bit confuse and quite honestly a little skeptical about this sort of "story." I mean why would we need a whole "encyclopedia" of characters, pronunciations, places and short stories from series we are currently obsessing over?
Let me tell you why we didn't know we needed something like this. Visions of Flesh and Blood, is certainly any fantasy romance readers dream!
How many times have you had to reread the previous book to any new releases of a series because you need a refresher of characters or how the last book you read ended. This book is that and so much more!
I should have never doubted my favorite author honestly. I should have known she was going to create something of real substance.
There are incredible art prints. Bonus scenes. The clear and so detailed explanations of the worlds and how they collide and come together. And if I do say so myself I like this narrator. Miss Willa's voice felt like a close friend was telling me a story about this crazy group of people she knows trying to make the world better and how this evil guy and his minions were doing anything and everything under their power to stop the meddling kids!
I don't know how to rate this book because it's not anything that I would have expected to need, yet I really enjoy having, so I'll give it a 4 out of 5 stars.
If you are like me and you just need to have sort of a glossary of facts, descriptions and explanations at a much easier access than trying to find the information in the actual book this is the book for you.
It is much more than a "glossary," and I am sure you will be thankful you got this book!
I would definitely say this isn't a book you pick up and read cover to cover. I would space it out, you could probably read a character's description, where are they up to now and whatever comes next, whether that is a diary entry or another character's description and what are they up to now and digest that.
**I received an e-arc of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

DNF. I really tried. I thought a compendium would be a good way to recap both series and potentially highlight various “Easter eggs” I hadn’t noticed before, but the repetition of each chapter absolutely ruined it. I got 7 hours in until I just couldn’t do it anymore. I’m not wasting another 18 hours of my life. I’d rather spend that time rereading FBAA and FAF.

This is great for a refresher and a reference before new books in the series but not great on its own. Took me forever to read because it's a summary of everything we already knew. Also Willa's entry font was not reader friendly.

As long as you go into this book under the right pretense it is worthwhile for Ash's exclusive chapter alone.
