Issue 001 - Read 7/9/17 - Read this after my cousin recommended it to me. He said he wasn't sold on it at first because he's not into furry stuff, and I said the same, but he gave it a try and liked it, so I did too. The premise is a little weird with the anthropomorphic animals, but it seems really interesting so far, so I will be continuing.

The graphic is set in a universe of anthropomorphic beings. The government enforces same species relationships and purebred children. You pay heavy fines for being single and when you turn 25 the government matches you with someone from your species. People found with other species face huge fines, jail time, and death. But there is something special about the blue haired, gothy, pig lady, Leslie Blair and her hot, steamy dreams.

Ich habe lange mit mir gehadert, ob ich diese Graphic Novel kaufen sollte. 19,99€ sind wahrlich kein Pappenstiel. Aber,Gott, was bin ich froh, dass ich da s Geld ausgegeben habe. Das Buch ist einfach grandios. Die Aufmachung ist wunderschön. Das Hardcover ist sowas von toll illustriert. Detailreich, farbenfroh, kontrastreich... Ich kann aus dem Schwärmen echt nicht rauskommen.
Und dann noch die Story. Boah, ich hätte nicht damit gerechnet, dass die so interessant und sogar spannend wird. Ich konnte es nicht mehr aus den Händen legen. Es geht hier um eine Welt in der ich sage man so etwas wie Tiermenschen leben. Es ist per Gesetz verboten dass sich die einzelnen Rassen und Geschlechter untereinander mischen, aber wie halt im wahren Leben fällt die Liebe nunmal hin wo sie hinfallen will. Neben diesem brisanten Thema kommt dann auch noch etwas Mysteriöses dazu. Etwas in das die Prota verstrickt ist, ohne es selbst zu wissen bzw. sich daran zu erinnern. Ich bin so gespannt wie es weiter geht.
Ich werde mir definitiv nun Band 2 kaufen.

DAMNNNN WOW okay so firstly, the art is AMAZING (i love trish's design sm she's Literally the friend ever),, the world is very interesting, animal people who have to be matched with the opposite gender of the same species once they turn 25 (kinda like racist and homophobic and you get jailed if you're caught behaving """unnaturally""" with another species, but idk i just find it interesting seeing it all in this anthro world) There is actually plot!! and it's NOT what I imagined (fables and spirits and death and a cult!!?) I cant believe i broke my 2-day record of not using my phone after dark for this, I'm gonna keep reading the other volumes now

I actually really enjoyed this comic. It is slightly nsfw but not in any way that seems overdone or distasteful. The art is very interesting and honestly kept me interested and staring at the pages far longer than necessary.
Leslie is struck with the realization that now she’s 25 and being “forced” to create a natural union with another of her species. But dreams she has been having about a certain wolf make it difficulty to settle for a pig like her. A few twists and turns occur and your left wanting more storyline. I’m very excited to see where this story goes from here.
