This was a very good book, but also utterly devistating and emotionally devistating. Listening to Simone's account of the death of her mother brought my own mother's death back in great detail.

insanely touching, but hit a little too close to home for me. i found myself thinking that it must have been much more rewarding to have written this book than to have read it-- as i don't wish the knowing of what's it's like to watch a loved one slowly die on anyone.

Oh, my heart. I don’t know how I’m going to survive the death of my mother.
