The downside to this book is that at one point the author was trying so hard to use the teenage slang that isn't even used anymore... every 3 words the word "bro" or "dude" pops up

But the PLOT TWISTS and the amazing characters and everything is great, reminded me of the OGs

Ohmyfreakinggosh!!!!!!!

As I read this book I just had moments I wanted to cry for Sloane and I won't lie I did tear up.
I wanted so bad to jump into the book and just punch Dorian and his whole Court Crew for how they were treating Sloane.
See the progression of their relationship I was cheering like yay Sloane but the back and forth was a killer.
The suspense in this book just kept me on my toes. Kept me wondering what's gonna happen next.

THAT ENDING THOUGH!!!!!!
I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT!!

I have so much, and I mean so much I want to say about this book but I do not want to spoil it for ANYONE! Dark Romance ✔️ Angst✔️ Unpredictable ✔️ Frustrating ✔️Steamier than the pits of hell✔️✔️✔️ Noa and Dorian are dynamite, C4, hell plutonium, but the pull between them is too strong to stay away. She evades and he persists even more, he evades, she says, f-it and f-you. Dorian’s inability to trust anyone beside his “family” closes him off and makes him unreachable, but somehow Noa Sloane is a jackhammer and can penetrate through his concrete facade he’s sculpted to protect himself. Oh, but there’s so much more going on and will we see how all these puzzle pieces come to be on this particular board, and who exactly arranged them?

Get ready for the drama, get ready for the twists and turns, because this book right here did not disappoint. I loved every second of this book, I thought that it was going to be a sad little, pick me up from the last book, but no, we hit the ground, running, and so many things happen in this book, you need to read this one immediately after finishing the first book. Do not wait. Get yourself into this book because baby, this is everything!

i wasn’t very interested in this book for like the first 25% but once it got into the storyline & plot i absolutely adored it, and i love how the author introduced the plot. this was also a lot better than the first book
