2nd better than first

This is the second book that follows Noa Sloan and Dorian Prinze. This one moves better than the first book. It also ended on a cliffhanger which makes me think the 3rd book will too and close in the 4th book. This author puts a lot of details into the environment her characters are in which can feel like too much detail where I would skip over until it focused back on the story. If not for that I would be at 5 stars.

Again, like with Dirty Wicked Prince, a lot happens in Savage Little Lies.

Savage Little Lies started slow, but after the halfway mark, the pace picked up. Unfortunately, I found the end a little too rushed, but it didn't take away from that plot twist; we all saw that coming; Eden O'Neill had dropped many hints throughout both the first book and Savage Little Lies.

It was good to see a new side to Ares, and it was nice seeing his relationship with Sloane grow. Also, it was fun seeing Dorian put some work into getting Sloane back; that added good humour to this dark book.

Overall, I enjoyed every page of Savage Little Lies, and I will delve straight into the next book in the Court Legacy series.

This may end up being a 5 star but I just need to sit on it because I was just taken on such a wild ride here. I keep thinking this series will loose my interest then all these things keep happening and draw me right back in. It’s WILD definitely recommend. But another cliff hanger soooo im off to book 3
