Again, like with Dirty Wicked Prince, a lot happens in Savage Little Lies.
Savage Little Lies started slow, but after the halfway mark, the pace picked up. Unfortunately, I found the end a little too rushed, but it didn't take away from that plot twist; we all saw that coming; Eden O'Neill had dropped many hints throughout both the first book and Savage Little Lies.
It was good to see a new side to Ares, and it was nice seeing his relationship with Sloane grow. Also, it was fun seeing Dorian put some work into getting Sloane back; that added good humour to this dark book.
Overall, I enjoyed every page of Savage Little Lies, and I will delve straight into the next book in the Court Legacy series.
Moderate: Emotional abuse, Physical abuse, and Toxic relationship
Minor: Grief, Stalking, Fire/Fire injury, and Gaslighting
