I found it a bit odd that the book didn't cover the cause of Marie's death. That being said though, it was a sweet and succinct (a bit shorter than others in the series) telling of Marie Curie's accomplishments.

This is fine as a bare minimum intro, but I felt like they still could have added a bit more depth and it would have more of an impact. Illustrations are wonderful, as usual.

This cute book on Marie Curie is a nice place to start, but I think in some areas it lacks information, even for the age group targeted. It is a cute intro to her life, although probably not the best out there. Still worth a read for younger children first learning about her. The illustrations are cute too.
