Bailey and Elsa's paths were destined to cross, but even they didn't realize how many secrets they would share. Forbidden love, family secrets and a touch of magic all popped up in this book set in a small town where everyone thinks they know each other's business. A bit far-fetched at times but overall a compelling read.

I absolutely loved this book. Bailey has the gift of site in 1950’s Oklahoma. I loved the details in the story and how it developed. There were some “oh my” moments that I never saw coming. Another great point about this story was that considering the time setting, there were no disparaging slurs. You will not be disappointed with this story. I highly recommend and let’s not keep it a secret.😉

A very good story with interweaving plot lines and amazing characters. Set in the 1950’s the character’s struggles with class, race and sex are problems that are still prominent today.
