The Diva is back in the 15th installment of the Domestic Diva Mystery series! I have loved this series on audiobook, but the ebook was equally enjoyable. Krista Davis has created a world that I love to visit--her characters now feel like real friends and I am invested in their lives! The mystery is twisty and difficult to solve, the plot is quick paced and absorbing, and catching up with the gang is so satisfying. I am looking forward to the next visit to Olde Town.
The recipes look so yummy---we are making the Japanese cheesecake this weekend.
Thank you NetGalley and Kensington Books for giving me the ARC I requested. All opinions are my own. I enjoy sharing great reads with my friends and followers.

What a revelation! I’ve read the audio book for the previous 14 books. I love this series. I also love books with recipes. Having listened to the audio books, I figured I had to figure out the recipe from the story line. In this e-book version I learned there are actual recipes from the story at the end of the book.

Despite missing out on actual recipes, I kind of missed the friendly voice of the narrator. The story line, however, was pure “Diva” and I truly enjoy this series. I got lucky, making this my first foray into the cozy mystery genre.

Great characters, lovely food, and a happy immersion into Old Town.

Thanks to Net Galley for the ARC.

I was given a copy of this book by the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Sophie is back at it when the husband of a new friend is found dead, bashed in the head with a champagne bottle. When Bernie, one of her best friends and a competitor of th3 dead man, is arrested for the murder, Sophie and her friends must figure out who did it.

But with a suspect list as long as her grocery list, can Sophie figure out this mystery before she’s the next one to die?!

Sophie is my hero. Every book in this series makes me want to become a domestic diva. Alas, I will likely just continue to live vicariously through her! :) Highly recommend this series and this installment is as good as the rest.

I had the pleasure of reading this book early via NetGalley; all opinions are my own.

Another fun entry in the Domestic Diva mystery series! Don’t read it when you’re hungry, because the food descriptions (especially cheesecakes) will make your stomach rumble.

Another fun book in the Domestic Diva series. This time Sophie is working to try and clear Bernie from the death of Tate. As the story unfolds it seems that Tate's son may be responsible, but towards the end it is found to be someone else. Interesting twists and turns as the story progresses.

My only complaint is all the food. I love cheesecake and now have a craving for some.

On to the next mouth watering book.

I was lucky enough to win a free copy of this book in a giveaway here on Goodreads. I love this series and usually listen to the audiobook version, which I highly recommend. Many of them I have listened to twice because I love them so much. It was definitely different reading this one vs listening to it, so maybe that was why it wasn't my favorite. It seemed to drag on. But my favorite characters were there and the mystery was interesting so I would highly recommend reading this one if you love this series as much as I do.
