This was a whole ride in the best way possible. I am glad to find another book from this author that I ended up loving a lot.

This is what Roe Horvat does best, which is erotica and omegaverse. Here is an interesting take in the universe, something I haven't seen before in any (published) book. The poly dynamics feel very refreshing, and the smut scenes were hot. I don't know how the author does to keep coming up with descriptions and never make the reader feel bored, at least that's my case. I think erotica is a tricky genre because it can either be too much or too little. But it seems he knows how to mix the best kinks and dynamics together, and I am very satisfied this time.

I have to be honest though. I have many praises for this book, but there is a reason I don't rate it 5 stars, only due to personal preference, which is
SpoilerJonah having sex with the other omegas
. Don't get me wrong, I am open to poly relationships in my books, but I have a thing about
Spoilerprefering the 'more dominant/top' one in the relationship/bed to Not be sexually involved with others if they already have a partner or realized he likes them, meanwhile I don't mind if the other party is slutty lol
. It was still hot though, so I enjoyed that scene and Jonah coming to terms with it. Reading the next one asap!

Ok. So. This is just smut. Like, to an incredibly unrealistic degree. Not just the story focusing on the sex, but there's no way someone with a job so important would have this much time to just have orgies all the time. Sorry but that's just not possible.

However, it's hot.

I hesitated to read this one after reading most of Roe's other work because it sounded so different. It took a deleted scene to draw me in. I should NOT have hesitated. Only Roe can make pure smut make your heart feel so full. I am sooo in love with Jonah and Sebastian. I'm writing this after reading the entire series, but this volume doesn't end at a cliffhanger, which I very much appreciate. I'm not usually one for quotes, but "wind and water" is definitely sticking with me:

"He’s promised to be mine. But seeing him now, I know that he can’t be. He doesn’t belong to anyone—just like the sun or moon don’t. I can’t bear the thought of another alpha touching his skin now that I’ve been inside him, but to own him? To collar him? Impossible. I’d just as easily collar wind and water."

In the end, bravo Roe

Lives Up to the Title!

True to Roe’s style this is spicy and smexy, but dialed up to an 11! It definitely lives up to its name! I wasn’t sure if I would like all the sharing but it’s quite tastefully done honestly.
