2024 - Year of The Bat (366 Days of Batman)
Day 162: Honestly, it could have been better, but you know what? It was good. I enjoyed it. Bloom was an interesting villain and I would have liked his origin fleshed out a little better. And the fate of Darryl. But I have enjoyed Snyder’s run on Volume 2.

Boy oh boy oh boy.
Saying goodbye to batman soon.
It was a great journey but another one must start now.
Bloom is beaten at last by the help of duke, and james gordon.
In the aftermath gordon becomes commissioner.
I have to agree with batman the darkness that comes with the joker can't be mimicked.

like the new suit , and man how many times is the batsignal been broken now? i lost the count ..
also how come it took 10 issues as batman to ruin Gordon's face but more than half a century of being batman hasn't made a scar on the handsome Bruce Wayne's face?

The ending of JimBats! The closure of a 10 month story arc! Batman’s return! A new Batsuit (http://comicsalliance.com/files/2016/03/Costume02.jpg)! The big ending of Bloom! Gosh, there’s just so much to cover, so thank goodness it’s a double issue. We get 50+ glorious pages to close out not only the Superheavy storyline but also Snyder and Capullo's epic run. Gotham is a mess thanks to seed-y villain, Mr. Bloom, and he’s amassing power quickly by using Gothamites as human soil. We also learn who the original Mister Bloom is and his relation to We are Robin leader, Duke. What will happen to Duke in Rebirth remains to be seen but he is certainly a hero here. It’s clear the team is getting ready to reset the universe; the issue will bring tears to your eyes and have you screaming ONE OF US, ONE OF US as you read through the end.

The end of a masterpiece. I'll miss Snyder on this book. http://pop-break.com/2016/03/24/review-batman-50/
