Better than I expected actually, though I think it might have something to do with also hearing Marco's side of the story - giving him a bit more depth than the usual powerful, rich, towering men in the Harlequin books.

One reviewer mentioned that there was unnecessary (maybe lengthy) descriptions of the wildlife and environment that Amber finds herself in, but I thought it was a nice touch.
