My initial review: I really enjoyed the story except I'm not sure what happened at the end. 4 stars

My review now: I initially thought I really liked the story, then I started thinking about it. I had to take a star away. As much as I was enjoying, that ending ruined it for me. It's a short story, fast-paced , but I can't get over that ending.

Let me stop talking about it or I'm going to end up taking away another star.

The part of me that was destroyed by this book wants to give it a 2. The part of me that loved this book wants to give it a 5.

But a 4 is probably more accurate than a 3 so I landed there.

I laughed, I sobbed, I stared in shock at the last page. It was definitely a heavy subject, especially reading it as a parent.

I *think* I loved it. But omgggggg the last few chapters had me sobbing, and then the last chapter was just....I don't even know.

(SPOILERS)
How come this book was so great?! I just decided to read some random book I got for Christmas and it is one of the most emotional books I've ever read. Just skimming through the end makes me almost cry. It would be in my top 5 if the epilogue didn't exist. The epilogue is so dumb and confusing, like was it all a dream, but then Izzy is alive? I think it might be Finn's new life but his parents are there, is it so if a little kid is reading it they won't cry? I don't know.

This book was so entertaining and important. I think talking about d3ath in this young age should be mandatory so the kinds won’t grow up being closed minded adults that can’t talk or see d3ath as part of life and handle it as a taboo

The book was good and a fast read, but not what I was hoping for. My library had the “humor/fiction” label on it. This book isn’t funny. It’s not light. It’s a fast read and I mostly enjoyed it, but the book follows two kids who are ghosts and died tragically. So not funny at all.

A very nice and heartwarming story about a boy who dies and then tries to figure out why while settling his unfinished business. The friendship with Isabella was endearing, and it showed Finn being braver than he thought he was.
Overall, sweet. Not mind-blowing, but a decent story and well paced.
