Really enjoyed this, it's the perfect length. It takes the ambiguities of studying history and biographies and gives them flesh, literally. For such a short story it also carries out some impressive world building with just a few words.
Interesting exploration of possible technology. I think if this technology was possible it would become ubiquitous in a way that would counteract the actions in this story, i.e. a resurrected Ronald Reagan might be circulated at the same time. Still, I like it.
3.5. This was a quick read. But I am bias... I love me some Jo!
Intriguing concept. Seems like the kind of thing Vonnegut would have appreciated.

I like when good authors take the time to write short stories to explore ideas. Jo Walton did a fine job with Sleeper.
How about this: If History is written by the victors, what happens if a simulation of a historical person is written by someone with an agenda?
There are some neat concepts I won't ruin for you, but read it. It is a short, thought provoking little story.
