Wow. This series is actually getting me into science fiction/action plots, which is a great accomplishment.
This book, like the rest of the series is SO action-packed but also has fantastic character development and romance and it's fair share of heart-wrenching moments. There are also so many plot twists, they might actually spin you're head around.
You won't be able to put it down. I finished it in less than 24 hours (and I'm a very slow reader). I like to think of this book as a bag of potato chips. Each chapter is so short, you keep telling yourself you'll only read one more, and then, boom! You've finished the whole book.
My only complaint is that I lost some interest when (SPOILER) the plot split apart. I understand the reasoning behind it, but I did have to make myself keep reading at parts which kind of lessened the aforementioned potato chip effect, which I really like.
Also, Max's weird little "feminist" comments sprinkled throughout this book were really annoying and I could tell that they were on old man's take on a young girl's take on feminism.

i loved this book it is a thrill ride. james patterson is one of the best authors in history. he made this series and this book is one of the best amazing.
The Maximum Ride books slowly deteriorate in my opinion. I honestly don’t remember a lot about this book. There were a lot of things that were good, and some that I didn’t like, but I don’t remember much so I don’t know if I can write about this book. Either way, this book is still good.
