2.5/5 This is unquestionably a lower tier Stephen King book. It reads like a lower quality and less deep The Stand. It is not that it isn't entertaining, it mostly is aside from a weak middle section, just that one expects more from King. There are no iconic characters or scenes and it really doesn't feel like King. This reads like his juvenilia rather than from a world-famous author that has been writing books for over 32 years.

Was really good but going in expecting a zombie type apocalypse book means the outcome of the apocalypse is kind of disappointing.

This is probably one of the worst book that I read.
I didn't have what else to read when I took it. I would not finish it if i had something else to read.
It has parts that are unimportant for the story but I learnt that King does that with all his novels.
It was kind of a torture for me.
But I bought 5 other books by King just to make sure I am not the problem. It sadly turns out it's his writing that annoys me.

Disappointing. The begining was pretty decent. After that, it was just a long boring and long winded story where nothing was happening. Did not finish.
