Excellent and provocative.

I've already consumed a few pages and I find this book strikingly odd. I'm used to Mark Twain's satirical flair, so his serious tone in this book is something very new to me. So far, I like what I'm feeding on. :D

Although the speech started repeating itself at some point, I quite enjoyed the general concept. The relationship and nature of both the Old and Young Man were intriguing and well-explored. I liked the examples provided through out the essay, little stories and retellings to support Mark Twain's statement.

An impressively cynical read, but I didn't totally disagree. If you want to confirm that you have no original thoughts, this is for you!
