Absolutely loved it :)
I loved seeing old friends from the other books in this universe pop in, and really didn't want the story to end.
I was on the edge of my seat till the very end. This is a must read!! :)

A Despicable Pirate Gets The Blackstream Treatment in This Turbulent Tale.

I am already a big fan of Ms Blackstream's writing style; I love the way she mixes mythology, traditional folk/fairy tales and gives them a new perspective.

I downloaded the narration of this book and once again Matt Addis' performance was outstanding! The pace he read transported me into the scenes and his tonal variations brought each character to life. He is a very talented voice actor and I would happily recommend books narrated by him.

I loved the duel nature of our so-called hero in this tale; I spent most of the story hating his guts but it was the glimmers of what Ms Blackstream hid beneath that kept me engaged. Our heroine is exactly what I crave in a leading female character; intelligent, resilient and has plenty of gumption.

I enjoyed the leading hook that this story gives us in the epilogue to Ms Blackstream's next series - Blood Realms. Will be adding them to my Amazon wish list too.
