I made several treats from this book before I had to return it to the library, and all of them turned out really well. I especially LOVE the rhubarb cream cheese muffins! I can see buying this book for myself after trying a few more recipes from it.

A fantastic book full of sweet and savory recipes. I love the array of recipes contained in this cookbook. The photos are beautiful, and I appreciate the addition of step by step photos for some of the recipes.
Thank you NetGalley for the advance copy!

One of my goals every year is to become a morning person. And I loved hearing Sarah’s journey tied to baking encouraging her to become just that. One of my favorite quotes in this book was “everything was new, everything was old , and I was never alone” when connecting with recipes to start her mornings and I hope that’s something I can tie to my daily morning routines now. Instead of wanting to pull the covers over my head for more rest, I think some of these recipes will be perfect for jumpstarting the day doing just that. Some recipes called for more steps than I have time for in my mornings, but maybe I’ll be inspired to savor and take more times for a special morning treat.
So far I’ve tried out the granola recipe and it was a huge hit! I didn’t add chocolate chips just because I was using what was already in my pantry, but the base layer for the recipe was a hit at my house! Can’t wait to try some of the breads and have a “coffee house bakery at home.”

100 Morning Treats is another hit by Sarah Kieffer! I absolutely adore 100 Cookies, so I was delighted to hear she was making a book focused on breakfast/brunch recipes. As implied by the name, this cookbook is mostly filled with treats. There's a selection of savory dishes, but the bulk is more pastry/baking focused. Recipes are mostly at the beginner/experienced beginner level, but there's also a section for laminated pastries that are more advanced. This book has options for just about every morning treat you could imagine, baking tips, and suggestions on how to customize certain recipes. I know I will be being a ton of these recipes!
