Absolutely gorgeous artwork done with such subtlety of shading to convey patterns and characters. It makes the little bit of light at the end, and the bright lettering of the kōrero i ngā ātua more startling. The repetition in the style of storytelling is also helpful to Māori learners for recognising words and expressions.
