Such a sweet story!

Gage and Jenna's romance is the sweetest one of the series yet (though their BFFs, [b:Baden|58428947|Baden (Pittsburgh Titans, #1)|Sawyer Bennett|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1635218654l/58428947._SY75_.jpg|91687734] and Sophie would give them a run for their money!) because these two...gah! So sweet! Somewhat similar to Sophie, Jenna has had a traumatic event in her recent past that was affecting her self esteem and image in the present. Jenna wasn't as much of a recluse as Sophie was, but she absolutely made all kinds of choices for her life--where she went and with whom, how she wore her hair, what kinds of tops/necklines she wore, and more--because of her scars. She even had all but decided to get rid of her sexy underwear when she moved, because she wasn't planning on anyone but her ever seeing her in them. (She didn't get rid of them, but it was close. Personally, I'm a fan of wearing them for yourself if they make you feel prettier, sexier, stronger--but only if they're actually comfortable. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk ;))

Gage had his work cut out for him in this book--not only was he the NHL veteran trying to make his struggling team into a cohesive unit, but he was quickly falling for a woman who was 110% relationship shy for a lot of really intense reasons. I loved watching him convince her that she really is beautiful--not just to him, but objectively beautiful--and her slowly starting to open up, both to Gage and to letting new possibilities into her life.

The "black moment" isn't particularly stark or even all that long lasting--after how hard they'd already worked on opening themselves up to the relationship in the first place, this actually felt OK. One quick phone call and an honest conversation later, we're well on our way to an HEA. Just the way I like 'em ;)

Please, please, PLEASE tell me Brienne will have a book with a single dad hero! PLEASE??? :D

Couple goals right here! Gage and Jenna are inspiring and uplifting to see what a relationship should be like. It is an insta love story that will make you swoon for Gage and be excited for Jenna to get her HEA.

These books are complete standalone stories, but if you have read the previous two, the time line overlaps a little giving a different perspective on somethings but mainly concentrates on Jenna and Gage. Gage is out of retirement, to help rebuild the new Titans team and be as supportive to the younger players as he can be. Jenna, whom we met in a previous series, has moved from Az to Pittsburgh to start a new career with the team in the media sector. They cross paths before she even makes it to her first day, and he leaves a lasting impression on her.

It’s a very quick read, full of happy moments with no angst at all. Gage is a near perfect hero who sees the good in most people and helps Jenna become the woman she once was before the fire that left her scarred in a few ways. He’s encouraging and protective, maybe a little too much for me at one time, but he only has her well-being in his sights. I loved the way Jenna blossomed throughout the whole book and learned to trust again. It’s a very sweet romance with a beautiful happy ending. Lastly, as with every SB book, there is some snippets as to what is up next, and I feel Coen’s book will be somewhat different and he has a lot of healing to overcome.

Gage and Jenna were on fire together. Loved how he saw her inner beauty and didn't care what anyone said. He needed someone to ground him.

I really loved seeing Gage and Jenna's relationship unfold. They both have pasts to overcome to be fully with each other. Gage never gives up. This one was on the emotional side (the whole series is). I enjoyed it.

Loved the narrations by Lance Greenfield and Virginia Rose.

I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Very sweet. He is determined to get past her shields and help her gain back her self-image and to know her worth isn't dependent on flawless skin, and it's such a cute and sweet journey.

Jenna and Gage already had my heart before their book, but this one is so special. Gage is right up there with my all-time fave, Ryker. Just romantic, empowering, and beautiful!

Gage and Jenna
I loved this one; I liked how awesome Gage is. I think he would be an awesome coach no joke he just gets it. He loves the game and he knows what the guys need to perform at their best.
Coming back from retirement isn’t something he ever wanted but he wanted to support this team because of everything they have been through.

Jenna is new to Pittsburgh and she is in a new job she loves but her scares hold her back, but she is blooming with the attention of her boss and Gage. I kinda of loved that.
It’s not easy but she is thriving.
These two together it’s sweet and I love the way Gage is with her and how she is with him. Trust and love shines through.

I think this might be my favorite narration duo Lance and Virginia are favourites of mine.

Gage is the third book in the Pittsburgh Titans Series and is Jenna Holland and Gage Heyward’s story. If you have read any of Sawyer Bennett’s books you will know that Jenna came from the Arizona Vengeance Series. She is now working for the Pittsburgh Titans and Gage, an experienced Hockey Player, is there to help rebuild the team.

Jenna is so scarred not only from burns to her body but her heart is scarred too. Gage loves Jenna but she is so scarred and so scared.

I love Gage! He sees Jenna. Not how Jenna sees Jenna! The scars don’t matter to him.

Sawyer Bennett draws you into the story and makes the reader feel the emotions of her characters. I am eagerly looking forward to her next book. For now 5+ STARS!
