Listened to on audible. Only reason i finished it was Because i am too cheap not to! Stilted. Predictable. Surprise ending not prepared for at all. Trumped up dragged out romance scenes.

I like Sandra Brown's writing style, it pulls me into the story on the very first page. This is a murder mystery/love story. For me, I kept changing my opinion on who the murderer was with every new chapter.

I’ve enjoyed this book, but the mystery mostly hinges on the heroine lying to the hero, which would have annoyed me less if she hadn’t been lying badly. Lie after lie was exposed right after having been uttered, and she didn’t learn a damn thing from it.

Ms. Brown masterfully plants red herrings and I completely fell for it, but the conclusion still made me frown because there was next to nothing leading up to it. I also felt that the depiction of Yasmine was problematic in some ways, but bearing in mind that this was written 25 years ago I’m willing to let it go.

I did like the main characters and once I was engrossed I couldn’t put it down. 3.5 stars.

Another great book by Sandra Brown. TOTALLY thought I had this one all figured out early on, even had me convinced I was right, all the way up to the last chapter!

I love Sandra Brown! I did have the "who dun it" figured out - at least I thought I did.

I think there was more to be said when the book ended, but I'm one of those that likes everything tied up neatly, knowing how the characters were impacted, etc.

Definitely a fave author who did not disappoint in this one, either!

Penyelesaian kasus yg belum tuntas benar?!. Buku ini jadi novel kedua beliau yg kubaca dimana penyelesaiannya kurang memuaskan. Romansa antar tokoh utama buku2nya Sandra Brown makin kesini makin berasa insta-love-nya ya

Enjoyed the easy simple writing and way the story flowed. Nice twist at the end. Had thought this would be predictable and would probably have given it 3 stars but for that twist. I think it's more like 3.5 stars though. Not bad
