This is I Know What You Did Last Summer meets Clue. But, instead of Colonel Mustard, Professor Plum, Miss Scarlett, Mrs. Peacock, Mr. Green, and Mrs. White, we have the Best Friend, the Confidant, the Senator, the Boyfriend, and the Executive.

As a mom of a child with complex medical needs, I wanted to like and understand Maire. I couldn't.

It was too over the top. I wouldn't say I enjoyed this read.

This book is a victim of great concept, poor execution. The pieces come together, but it's messy and clunky. It felt a little heavy handed in trying to get us to the end.

This nail biter is set around a reality TV show. Five contestants are invited to participate in a game to win $10 million. And only one of the characters is even remotely likable. We have a serious dog eat dog environment here. Characters each narrate separate chapters, with now and then timelines to fill in back story. Each of them has a secret that they would go to great lengths to protect.
