A useful look through a fantastic journalist's lens into our recent global protest history. We often form our protest strategies from the toolbox of the past (and, of course, the ideals of the future) and this book serves as a concise (if not dense) dissection of strategies that previously failed, did not reach full realization, or were co-opted. Even a failed hypothesis is successful science and anyone considering the ways in which we protest will find plenty in this text.
