The Viscount does some truly heinous actions against Violet in his revenge scheme. Violet spends much of this book too horny to function. Their chemistry is very good, however I think Violet is too eager to grant forgiveness.

LIKES:
  • writing style and smut scenes
  • her way of hyping up the next couples in the series
  • time jumps where you actually feel that there is a time jump
DISLIKES:
  • insta-lust between hero and heroine
  • wishy-washy character and moods of the hero
  • rushed/no natural progression of emotional chemistry between the two main leads. Meaning, I need to see from their banter and conversations their act of falling in love
  • more show than tell
  • a bit of sketchy behavior from the hero that I somehow interpreted as abuse (whoops!)
