Collen hoover never disappoints with her story line however Owen gave off me a yucky vibe at the beginning of the book. I ended up liking his character development tho. Auburn however was interesting from the get-go. Idk how I feel about her character and I'm not sure if that's good or bad. Trey and Lydia are the worst, there's literally no one that can argue with me on that.
Loved the art work, I thought that was so cool to actually see the art work that "Owen" painted.

All in all, it brought tears to my eyes, I would read it again and would recommend it to a friend but I would tell them the trigger warnings.

This book is a rollercoaster of emotions, I went from smiling to crying. Despite being part of the 'insta love' trope the book develops in to so much more than that and the connection between the characters is so believable. The book moves so quickly and I love that we get to see Auburn's and Owen's POV's as we really get to get in to the characters feelings and emotions. It's my first COHO book and I can't wait to read more from her. A truly amazing and heart wrenching book would definitely recommend but please read trigger warnings before hand.

I WILL RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TILL THE DAY I DIE! I don't know how the hell Colleen does it but she put me through the 5 stages of grief the WHOLE book. You will be rooting for the characters the whole time and it really makes you feel everything that they're feeling. It saddens me that this book isn't talked about enough because in my opinion it truly is one of her best. There are little things to take into thought before reading this like teen pregnancy, drug abuse, and physical abuse but besides that its amazing [as i've been repeating this whole review] And for anyone thinking about reading this and wanting to know if its a happy or sad end just know it has a happy ending but it will still leave you in tears, and I say that as I am writing this sobbing lol. Lastly, for those of you who like a little spoiler here is probably the best quote from the book...
"She's like a light, unwittingly brightening up the darkest corners of a man's soul."
