It was good! Definitely not my favorite, but a good time nonetheless, and I was definitely invested in the story (more so after the first 150 pages) There was a few things that bothered me here and there, and I wasn’t kicking my feet at the romance which indicates it was lacking a bit.

Colleen Hoover said ACAB. She really does come up with interesting ways to keep love interests apart (but not for too long).

Dang good story. A little cliche and predictable. Some stupid decisions made by the female main character. HEA.

This book would have been so much better without Trey. Obliviously
he is the villain of the story. But he is such a cheesy villain. Planting evidence, being a bad cop?
the rest of the story is heart wrenching and beautiful but an unrealistic amount of conflict. Good read though!

I liked this book it was good. Being an artist I like the concept of the art used in this book, Owen I think has won me over for a book crush. Hahahaha.

The story itself was good, I felt it picked up just over half way , the first half I kept thinking haven't I just read this, it just felt repeatative.
Auburn just felt flat to me the whole time through, I understand that she had so much going on but she was a very flat character for me again she didn't show her character until towards the end is when I started liking her.

Overall it was a good colleen hoover read but placing in the middle of my rankings.

I'll start by saying I don't think Hoover's books are for me, or more like I'm not the target audience. The characters were frustrating, the plot a bit implausible, the overall love story disappointing. The only part I appreciated was the believability of staying in a toxic relationship in the hope that you might get custody of your child. I realize that I'm being super judgey and that there are people out there who can relate to the characters and their experiences in this book. Just a book not for me.

This was not my favorite Colleen Hoover book, but still written in her typical fashion. Some of the confessions were hard to read. And Auburn's story made me sad. I'm not sure how I feel about Owen lol.
